Hi everyone,

I have recently started using HMI software cimplicity 8.2. It is the first time i am using GE HMI software. I don't have any experience of working on previous versions of cimplicity.

Can anyone tell me that what is the best way to learn building HMIs on this cimplicity 8.2 software?

Please send me some basic exercises to learn cimplicity 8.2 software?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you can go into the Cimplicity Project "Screens" folder and take an existing screen and "save as" another name for testing. Then you can start training yourself by taking screen components (push buttons, color animation, text strings etc.) apart as you like and if you make a mess of it simply delete it and start over.
