Been dealing with field instruments, but hardly dealt with ICS/DCS/PLC, the closest documents i have come across are termination/wiring diagrams & causes & effects.
Was wondering is there any quick way to understand ICS/DCS/PLC, like the technical basics (not including programming part) just in case I've been asked to handle it? And also is there a good site that shows big ICS/DCS/PLC suppliers & popular models? I understand these are more like computers which i'm not very good at.
