Hopefully someone here already faced with similar issue as I am facing with now.
As soon as password control is switched from local to common within the security builder (downloaded and equalized all stations), when attempting to log in using the Centum interface I receive warning "Please confirm the state of the PC which has project database". But, after this warning message user-in action is accepted. Next step I have tried is to change password for the corresponding user but I receive the error message "Password cannot be changed because of system abnormality. Password change is canceled."

It seemed to me that there is some problem in network communication between stations, but system does not have any other issue that might confirm that suspicion. All stations see other stations through the network, equalization works as charm. Only thing that doesn't function is common password control.
For time being local password control is implemented but it would be better to have common password control available considering that there are four operator stations together with engineering station implemented in this system.

Fyi such problems are common if the IT security tool not run properly to particular HISs both in Release5 & Release6.

Try to login with Domain User to the particular HIS, and then "RUN the IT security tool as stand alone first, and if goes well RUN as domain combination management it may take approx. 30 min. Once the results are okay without errors ,restart the machine and then "Machine shall login automatically to basic CENTUM User with HIS functions.

Down load the project common from the Builder.

Try to login to the designated Operator user from the user login tab. Hope the issue will be resolved..
