Hi everybody,

How can we define tags in Citect in order to connect to working area (W) and holding area (H) of omron CS1 PLCs?

We use controller link bus for connection to plcs. We should read this area in both bits and words. I would be grateful if someone could help me.

Hello Babak,

Citect have recently updated there driver (last few months i believe) offering to include Omrons FINSGATEWAY driver tools. This is far more superior than the previous driver.

This corrects problems with defining 'W' and 'H' bits/words.

I am not sure if I can source a copy, but if you discuss with your Citect agent, they should be able to offer a update CD with the FINs package.
