Hello Controls Friends,
I am looking for a current transformer, window type, with 5 amps primary to 5 amps secondary ratio, I know it is not a common application, but I have no other way on this.

It has to be window type, by this I mean that it is like a donut or square with a hole in the middle where the primary wire would go, for secondary it can be wire strips or terminals.

If got any options, please let me know.

Best Regards,

Miguel... CTs having unusual ratios are often used in The "Art" of Protective Relaying.

For example, burden or ratio mismatch between Primary and Secondary CTs in Xfmr Differential Applications can occur. And because unusual ratios are supplied, I'm sure 1:1 (5-A current rated) can be arranged.

I suggest you contact a protective Relay Manufacturer. I am sure they can recommend a solution or at the very least point you in the right direction!

You can use a CT with a higher ratio like 50/5 and just loop the primary 10 times which will give you a 5/5 ratio.
