I would like to read the flow rate using pulses, and on the task I'm required to work out the flow rate and flow rate at 100ms and send the data to googlesheets using Phoenix Contact PLC... Can anyone have a logic. I tried to use a Pulse generator using TOF and F_R Edges but not seeing how to read it and link it with the flow rate.

 

I use a PM16DI modbus RTU RS-485 or TCP ethernet IO module with a digital input set to counter.
It can count up to 1kHz with pulses of min 500us.
I read the value via the modbus interface.
