what is duration for ignition timer of spark plug in gas turbine frame-5 during start up?

 

For gas fuel K2FGAS is normally 10 seconds, and for Liquid fuel K2FLIQ is 30 seconds. I have seen these values used on Frame 5/6B/7E/9E turbines.

If all things are working well flame typically occurs within a couple seconds for gas and 8-10 for liquid fuel.

 

The length of the ignition timer is dependent on the application and sometimes on the fuel being started on.

 

fire has to occur at most 30 second, otherwise it trips.
but in generally you need 3-5 second to observe fire..
