hi

Have a h2s detector for the range of the detector is 0 -100ppm.

What will be the calibration gas cylinder type is it 50 ppm or 100ppm I need to use to calibrate the h2s detector?

And what will be the procedure to be followed?

One would guess you could use both gas cylinders to compare results.
However it would appear prudent to follow the Manufacturer's calibration procedures to ensure they are valid.

 

As the range is 0 - 100 ppm, it would be best if you calibrate the full range with a 100 ppm cylinder. However, if your measurable range is lower, you can calibrate it with a lower range like 0-50ppm with a 50ppm cylinder. This is my opinion.
