We need to access the PLC and upload the project from it to our laptop. We are trying to access through modbus port and modsoft software. Can anybody telll us a link from where we can find any information regarding this plc???
1. At first if you use modsoft and com port please start Modsoft from pure DOS. You should make a dual boot PC (laptop). Modbus - com port doesn't work in Windows emulation.
2. Other possibility is to take Concept software. It works.
3. Are you sure the program in the PLC is written in LL984 not using IEC languages? In this case modsoft isn't usable.
I spent a couple of hours trying to talk to a 934 on the works laptop (running win2000), gave up and dragged an old PC over to it running windows 95 and it worked fine. Had the same problem wih S5 software too.
