I face a problem with establish communication between scanner 2000 and ProSoft gateway using MODBUS RTU.
The gateway is Master with baud rate 9600 and the scanner is slave with ID 1and baud rate 9600,the gateway transmit but does not receive as its Leds indicate .

 

Many communication issues are due to either incorrect wiring or mismatched configuration settings.

Check your wiring. Make sure you have your RS-485 signals connected + to +, - to -, and GND to GND. Note that "A" and "B" polarity labeling is not consistent among vendors, so you may need to swap your + and - wires if one or both of the devices use "A" and "B" labeling for the RS-485 signals.

Confirm your communication settings. Both devices must be configured for the same baud rate, parity, and number of stop bits. Additionally, the master must be configured to target the same slave ID that the slave is configured for.
