Recommend temperature controller

Please recommend a temperature controller to replace a phased out/obsolete temperature controller with no support for new models.
Brand: Ero Electronic
Model: TKS937133000

1. Water temperature control logic:

Input signal: T/C Type J
Output signal for cooling: 4-20mA
Output signal for heating: SSR

PV>SP: send 4-20mA signal to cooling water control valve
PV<SP: send on/off signal to SSR controlling the heater

2. Need RS485 serial communication port (COM, B, A)

I was looking into this controller:

Brand: PMA
Model: KS-90-114-1000E-000

Please advise as well.

Thanks in advance!

PMA's terminology is just different enough that I'm not sure whether that model does what you need to do.

The Honeywell UDC 2800 will do what Honeywell calls duplex operation, also called Heat/Cool with heating on one side of the setpoint, and cooling on the other side of the setpoint (with an adjustable deadband in between so that neither heating nor cooling is called for simultaneously.)

Their output allocation table that states which output is where on the terminal block uses the term 'relay' for a binary (on-off) output, but I assume that since an open collector (whose switching DC output can drive the 'DC coil' of a solid state relay) is also a binary (on-off) output that an open collector would function the same as a 'single' relay.

Output allocation table, does relay mean binary output like open collector.png

The RS-485 output on a Honeywell UDC 28000 is Modbus RTU only, not Profibus.

The input is universal input, any type thermocouple.

Hi, David. That really helps. I am looking into it. Price a bit hefty but definitely the function I need. I am sorry for the late response.
