Siemens power module problem

Hi all,
I just purchased a new Siemens power module 6EP1334-3BA10 (220V / 10A) online. During the power-on process, the yellow and green indicator lights flashed several times, and then smoke came out. I checked the relevant technical manuals and the power IC operation manual, and checked the wiring. There is no problem, and the input voltage and heat dissipation of the power module are also fine. So what is the problem? I have no idea...

Anyone has ideas of it?

Dear,
Thank you for sharing the issue with your Siemens power module. Based on your description, it seems like there could be a potential fault in the unit itself, as everything else appears to be correctly set up.

If you're looking for reliable, high-quality power supplies, I would recommend considering other Siemens power supply options, such as the Siemens SITOP series.
If you'd like more information on Siemens power supplies or need assistance in selecting the best model for your application, feel free to reach out.

I'm late to the party, but some might find it useful.

Green - 24VDC OK, Yellow for Overload.
Looks like you could have encountered short-circuit or ground-fault on 24VDC side. A few flashes possibly are the result of short-circuit protection kicking in, then retrying to supply voltage again.
Nevertheless, faulty unit is always a possibility.
