special parameter for Fanuc 6m control...?

anyone who knows about special parameter
000-006 in fanuc 6m control. what is it??
plz tell me..
 
The first 6 parameters in a fanuc 6mb control do not seem to be published in machine manuals. I am looking for the same information. I believe that in parameter 2, bit 5 switches between input devices(tape and rs232), and I think parameter 3 enables cutter diameter compensation. If someone has this list it would be greatly appreciated.

 
I am trying to use a 6m here in florida -- did you have any luck finding the parameters? I want to tie in to the rs232c on the machine panel with a laptop and dump programs in. I think that some of the params have changed.

My name is Tim Wyatt I saw your post on the Net. And I would like to know what the parameter
is for turning on the type 2 G71 rough turn can cycle. Thats the one where the X can go both positive and negative directions in the same cycle. All I have is type 1 where all the X moves have to be positive. This is on a Fanuc 6t lathe controller. Any info would save me a whole lot of programming.

I am the owner of two older Fanuc controlled machine tools and would like to
use Macro A and B. One is a 6TB and the other is a 6MB.

Any chance you could give me a listing of parameters 0 through 6 ? I
believe this will allow me to enable the macro functions on the controls.

G'day all, first post for me but i doubt it will be the last lol. I know this is a very old post but we have just purchased an old Matsura with this control and i tried changing the first 5 parameters but it wont change. Is there a special code/ sequence to be able to change the fixed parameters?

hopefully you figured out by now, in case you did not, i just swapped a bubble memory in a fanuc 6mb.
and i only had to have the control in MDI mode, and you have to have the parameter write enable switch on,
on my mitsui seiki its a small toggle switch on a board marked pwe. but there was no special method or anything
i had to do, other than type the letter P then the appropriate 8 bits ex: {P} 00100100 {INPUT}
