Control magazine is seeking true stories about life in the process automation industries from people who work in the field. We believe that means employees of process industries, consultants, integrators, but not employees of vendors.

We're looking for stories about problems solved or unsolved, the stuff of daily work life in the trenches from technicians, process engineers, and instrumentation and control engineers. We'll publish the best of these stories every other month (the column alternates with Bela Liptak's, so the stories we print are in very good company).

So if you have a "war story" you'd like to share, please send it to us. Your article should be factual and not more than 800 words long. The best story submitted each month will win a $500 prize, as well as being published in Control magazine.
