OnLogic Joins Forces With Viso.ai To Enhance AI-Powered Vision
OnLogic will combine its industrial computer hardware with Viso.ai’s computer vision software. The duo will create a fully integrated platform designed to bring AI-powered vision to applications across industries.
AI algorithms are frequently used in machine vision applications. These systems can better identify defects, missing components, and other hard-to-detect features of vision applications over traditional vision systems. This enhanced detection is partly because of AI and the ability to train the system on what constitutes a good or bad part.
An AI vision system, however, requires some hefty PC power to run the software and interface with hardware. Thus, it makes sense for a PC company to partner with an AI vision software company. Enter OnLogic and Viso.ai.
Last month, OnLogic announced a partnership with Viso.ai to combine its industrial computer hardware with Viso’s AI vision platform.

OnLogic and Viso.ai
OnLogic is a supplier of industrial computers and servers. The company’s fanless IPC product line is popular with machine integrators due to flexible configuration, multiple I/O ports, and selectable mounting options.
The OnLogic and Viso joint venture is focused on creating a catalog of pre-built and configured systems for the Viso application, saving integrators the hassle of determining PC specifications. Viso will work with OnLogic to preconfigure its AI computer vision software on OnLogic’s industrial computers.

Viso Suite Computer Vision Platform
AI has flipped the PC vision world upside down, but the systems are typically complex and require extensive programming knowledge. Viso’s Viso Suite is an end-to-end computer vision software, specifically designed for end users to build scalable, intuitive, and reliable vision applications. The Viso Suite is applicable across many industries, including quality control, workforce safety, and process automation.
The Viso Suite software transforms vision data into real-time decisions. Viso has designed its software to be more than just a set of vision tools: it can record high-resolution video streams from one or many different cameras. The software features a centralized video data manager to import, organize, and manage datasets in one location. Capturing and labeling visual data can sometimes be a manual process. With Viso Suite, these steps are automated for users across multiple locations, which speeds up the model training process.

AI-Powered Machine Vision
Poorly selected hardware that runs advanced software can result in frustrated users. With the latest partnership between OnLogic and Viso, users will now have access to a fully configured system that runs an AI-power computer vision software with efficiency and ease of use.
