Portescap Adds 60ECF Brushless DC Motor to Flat Motor Offerings

Leading motion solutions provider Portescap has expanded its lineup of flat motors with the new 60ECF brushless DC slotted flat motor. The 60ECF features a compact design and improved thermal management. The flat motor is optimized to deliver high performance in a wide range of applications.

The 60ECF Brushless DC Motor

Portescap's new 60ECF brushless DC slotted flat motor is compact with an overall body length of 38.2 mm. For improved heat management, the 60ECF has an open-body design. The 60 ECF is made up of a 14-pole magnetic circuit and can produce a torque of 298 mNm. To reduce rotation speed and deliver higher output torque, the 60ECF can be integrated with various Portescap gearheads.

Portescap developed its motor with customization in mind, offering a range of options like coil modifications for resistance and inductance and custom shafts. The 60ECF is also available with optional hall sensors for ease of position control.

High-power Density

Portescap’s new slotted flat motor is designed for applications requiring high-power density and smooth output torque. It is suitable for use in robotics, aerospace and defense, and industrial automation. Specifically, the new 60ECF motor can be used in bionics, electric grippers, conveyors, flat actuation, and exoskeletons.
