What is the best Software in order to Create electrical Schemes for Automation and I/O Schemes
I didn’t mention Autocad Electrical as Eplan is an improvement and up to date version of it - although believe It’s not yet obsolete. If your I/O schemes are fairly repetitive then there is Autocad Lite which is probably obsolete, fairly limited and doesn’t have a licence.

What is the best Software in order to Create electrical Schemes for Automation and I/O Schemes
Can certainly recommend Eplan, but understand it has a fairly expensive licence.

Daikin Modbus Cards EKFCCMBCB7
It’s not unusual for Manufacturers to hold back technical information to maintain service agreements. If you on a ‘new build’ then the situation is vastly different - if you have a Project Engineer on the case he/she may see lack of technical data from a commercial point of view. It’s not the...

Daikin Modbus Cards EKFCCMBCB7
16 bit integers, Modbus protocol and no Software ?! Not rocket science or pure magic... not so much being economic with the truth - just a manufacture metaphorically holding their cards close to the chest. Nothing personal.

Daikin Modbus Cards EKFCCMBCB7
Not come across these, but suspect you have asked the card manufacturer (hardware) how the software performs. You need to contact Daikin who would more likely have installed their software.

ESD system - Interposing Relay Panel - SIL Capable
Whether you use SIL certified relays depends entirely on your client’s specific requirements - they do not have to be certified. If you work on the KISS principle (stupidly simple), you could argue certified relays give you another level of complexity which may / may not be advantageous. There...

Height control system based on timer (probably using hydraulic)
Control Engineers are happy to work with hydraulics but tend to be electrically minded. On that point could the air flow gates be inched open/closed electrically. Siemens Logo! is a fairly cheap PLC with realtime clock which is easily programmed. It also comes with a display so you can change...

PARAMETERS FOR ZE3 VSD ATLAS COPCO BLOWER
Do we understand that you have replaced a Siemens 132kw inverter for something similar a completely different ? And were the parameters for the Siemens unit noted prior to removal as they wouldbe the starting point for the replacement.

Connecting a transmitter to HMI
It's unusual to attempt direct connection of field device to HMI. Can you provide a few more details of the HMI and CO sensor, connection details and the results of your attempts at connection.

Static code analysis and formal methods for PLC software
My many years experience of different industries is - it generally depends on the industry and commercial limitations. Most customers just want a working system regardless of domain languages or any other specific limitation of the hardware. Any bugs were generally your problem. Certain large...

One PID connected to 2 actuators
One thing missing from the drawing is level sensor.. That said the above points are also pertinent: - close valve and increase pump speed to lower level; open valve and decrease pump speed to increase level. - probably the easiest way to consider a PID with range 0-100% with look up tables to...

E-stop will not reset
It is not uncommon for a machine/system to be installed with all the Emergency Stops wired back to the PLC for ease of identification on the rare occasions when operated. Then with the best of intentions maintenance add another Emergency Stop station, wire in to the emergency stop circuit but...

Choice of hardware
As far as I'm aware, there isn't any I/O module that directly communicates with Microsoft Software never mind Visual Studio ! Where is the software and it's working environment ? I'm guessing desktop, laptop or tablet. Beckhoff PLC (https://www.beckhoff.com/en-gb/) design their I/O around PC...

DUAL SPEED MOTOR
We are guessing you are looking at the possibility of overheating. Probably the easiest way to find out is to try it whilst monitoring winding temperatures. The better solution is to extract from the motor specification, or if unclear from the manufacturer whether there is adequate cooling at...

Siemens S7-400 PLC - how to wire
This is where product Manuals for i/o become very useful.. " Do I need to wire the V+ and V- to each module? " Some you do- some you don't. Analogue i/o have even more variations and possile configurations.

Flex feeder vibration system
It's very unclear what you are proposing. Is it a feed (movement) based on vibration; vibrating conveyors come in different shapes and sizes depending on specific application. Or is this 3-axis vibration monitoring ?

Question: Holding Register can do everything?
Historically, Modbus communications only appeared with Modicon PLC's, which is where the input registers came in for analogue devices. Discrete coils and contacts were for ladder logic; but being numerical machines, holding registers were very useful. This is also where the terminology came from.

Delay between two start buttons.
There is always a logical way to solve a problem, the harder it appears the greater challenge it becomes. I must admit the MCC's (motor control centre) I have worked on the star/delta start is achieved electrically. This is so the starter works in 'manual' mode without PLC control. This means...
