Cimplicity HMI: EM_RP starts up but fails to transition to a running state.

Dear Controls Team,

We have four (4) units of GE FRAME 9E Gas Turbines on-site, and the Control System uses GE SPEEDTRONIC Mark VI running on CIMPLICITY HMI Projects. Recently, the HMI for GT #2 was down and refuse to come up when it was powered up. We trouble shot the fault and discovered that the power pack was the issue. We replaced the power pack and the system came up but the Gas Turbine Overview Screen or the Operator’s Interface did not display because the Cimplicity Project is not running. Each time we try to play the Cimplicity project from Cimplicity HMI Workbench, some Services are running but EM_RP (Event Manager Resident Process) starts up but fails to transition to a running state. EM_RP hangs in a starting state and the Gas Turbine Overview Screen cannot display.

Please has anyone experienced a challenge like this before? How was it resolved?

Thank you and looking forward to a feedback

P.S. Please find attached a screenshot from the HMI.

A few details would help narrow this down, since a process hanging in the starting state usually leaves a reason in the logs:
- What does the CIMPLICITY Status Log show while EM_RP is starting? Any error or warning lines logged at that moment, or from the other processes that start with it?
- Which CIMPLICITY version and Windows version is this HMI running?
- Besides the power pack, was anything else changed or restored, for example the hard drive, the computer name, the IP address or the system date and time?
- Does the project start normally if you stop all CIMPLICITY processes and start it again from the Workbench, or does it hang the same way every time?
