Hi everyone, I'm having the following problem with an actuator: I want to switch from Modbus control to 24VDC digital inputs, but I'm getting a Bus FailState error. I understand the problem is that I can't find a way to make this change. Has anyone had experience with this?

 

Many Modbus devices have a communication timeout feature that is controlled by settings for the timeout time and a timeout action. That sounds like what this Bus FailState error is.

Look through the device's communication settings for settings related to this FailState feature.

If you need help figuring out which setting, please provide the model number, or better yet, the user's manual, for the actuator.
