All of us know from control point of view, all thermal power plants are more or less same. I want to know any ready made SCADA applications are available for a thermal power plant.

We have a small 4.2 MW Power plant having a boiler and T-G set. I inquired about DCS solutions for it but I have been told that generally DCS solutions are economical for 8 MW and above capacity plants. Hence I want to know whether any tailor made SCADA applications are available in the market to cater for power plant operations.
