ATX West Heads to Anaheim, and Control.com Will See You There!

The Control Automation engineering and editorial team is excited to make the trip down to Anaheim, CA once again for ATX West, part of the 5-event IME West trade show, hosted by IME Engineering.

The show is guaranteed to be a big hit, and we are excited to meet with some of our favorite manufacturers and hope to meet many new companies as well, showing off amazing innovations across the medical, design, and packaging industries.

 

5 Shows in One Huge Event

IME West, held at the Anaheim Convention Center, is the western regional host for 5 different events inside one building:

• MD&M - Medical device and manufacturing, including digital, robotic, and manufacturing solutions for all kinds of healthcare applications.
• D&M - Design and manufacturing, including additive and 3D printing, CNC, CAD/CAM, and digital manufacturing services.
• WestPack - Packaging solutions for a wide range of applications in the healthcare, food and bev, and pharma industries.
• Plastec - Manufacturing for plastics and polymers, including design services, injection molding products, and material innovations.
• ATX West - Automation technology involving robotics, sensors, and motion control, all threaded with the latest in digital technology.

Our own Control Automation team is excited for our upcoming meetings with many leaders in the general automation space, as well as those manufacturers and engineering firms designing great solutions for the healthcare and packaging industries.

Here is a preview of just a few of the exciting meetings that will be showcased in follow-up editorial publications on www.Control.com.

 

Bosch Rexroth

This global leader in factory automation and robotics is poised to impress with solutions that include the CtrlX automation platforms, modular conveyance systems, and material handling with the help of a 7-axis collaborative robot from Kassow, a company partially owned by Bosch Rexroth.

Another highlight of the Bosch Rexroth booth comes, surprisingly, in a more mechanical format; an enhanced series of aluminum extrusion profiles, a staple building block of so many industrial work cells and structures. This simple building material is well-known and loved by many design engineers!

 

FANUC

If there is one thing we love to see at a trade show, it’s the bright color yellow! The FANUC spirit thrives in the lineup of both robots and manufacturing equipment. The MT-LINK software is designed to monitor tool data in CNC equipment to provide manufacturers with immediate insights around the factory to keep operations running.

FANUC will also showcase the bright yellow industrial arms, ranging from 6-axis models to high-speed SCARA designs. The white and green design of the CRX collaborative robot (cobot) series will also be on display.

Robots and power supplies are critical for manufacturing, but when attending an automation trade show, you expect to see control system components!
