Bosch Rexroth Updates EcoSafe Modular Safety Fencing Portfolio

Bosch Rexroth has introduced a new generation of EcoSafe modular safety fencing featuring a high load capacity, quick installation time, and support for advanced digital design. The updated portfolio aims to address the challenge of flexibility in industrial safety systems by offering a modular and easily customizable safety fencing solution that can be tailored to different industrial setups.

EcoSafe Guard Designs and Fences

The new EcoSafe portfolio features a redesign centered around a more stable, thinner aluminum frame profile with dimensions of just 22.5 x 45 mm. The updated profile increases the load-bearing capacity while maintaining compatibility with Bosch Rexroth's original EcoSafe components and other modular aluminum profiles offered by the company.

When it comes to installation, Bosch Rexroth's introduction of a direct panel aims to simplify the assembly of linear safety fencing. These prefabricated panels are made to connect quickly, utilizing a simplified system that requires just a fencing cap with a few screws, thereby reducing deployment time by 40%, according to Bosch Rexroth.

The fence is designed with a universal foot that provides additional versatility, allowing it to fit a standard safety frame profile of either 45 x 45 mm or a profile of 22.5 x 45 mm. The safety fence reduces the number of floor holes during installations, as it is held in place on the floor with just two bolts. Additionally, the fence features a hinge function, allowing for various angle installations and adjustments to create flexible, non-linear configurations.
