Expanding Power Solutions with the 2587 Base Power Supply Series
Wago's 2587 Base Power Supply Series is built to offer robust electrical performance in a compact enclosure, bringing durability and reliability to industrial control applications. The new power solution features a compact footprint, with the 20A model measuring just 56 mm wide, saving on panel space. When it comes to efficiency, the power supply boasts a 94% efficiency in the reduction of energy losses, thereby reducing operational costs. The solution’s mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeding 1,000,000 hours increases its lifespan and reduces maintenance needs. Another notable feature of the 2587 Base power supply is its reliable operation in extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to 70°C. When it comes to installation, the power supply offers a secure and vibration-resistant connection through Wago’s patented Push-In CAGE CLAMP® connection technology.
Designed to seamlessly integrate with Wago’s Pro 2 and Eco 2 power supply families, the 2587 base power supply series, which features 5A, 10A, and 20A models, enhances flexibility in OEM, and ensures stable delivery of power in demanding industrial environments.

The Visual Panel 200 Series Rugged HMIs
The new Visual Panel 200 Series HMIs are built to withstand harsh environments, offering enhanced visibility and connectivity to optimize system monitoring and control. Featuring a rugged design that meets NEMA 4X and IP68 standards, the new HMI series is engineered for use in demanding industrial environments that are often exposed to aspects like dust and moisture. This makes the solution suitable for use in control panels and manufacturing plants to provide a clear and reliable process visualization in extreme conditions, even in daylight. The new HMI series from Wago comes in 4”, 7”, and 10” screen sizes and smoothly integrates with common PLC protocols and a range of third-party controllers. A maintenance-free design that features no batteries or fans ensures minimized downtime.

The New PFC300 Controller
Wago’s PFC300 Controller is a high-performance PLC engineered to handle complex engineering tasks with its advanced features. Equipped with a dual-core 64-bit processor and 2 gigabytes of RAM, the new controller can handle fast processing of complex logic and data-intensive applications. The new controller also accommodates memory expansion with its push-push SD card slot. The device supports a wide range of protocols, including EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, MODBUS, and PROFINET, with BACnet and DNP3 options available through licensing. IIOT protocols like MQTT and OPC UA are also featured in the controller to easily facilitate connection to cloud and SCADA services. The controller’s two Ethernet ports support data transmission rates of up to 1GB, and an RS-485 onboard serial communication port further ensures connectivity.
When it comes to cybersecurity, the new PFC300 features VPN, TLS encryption, and a built-in Firewall to ensure maximum network security. The controller is equipped with LEDs that can be independently configured and a USB C port to facilitate configuration, firmware updates, and programming directly. For programming flexibility, the controller uses CODESYS V3.5, and a web-based management system simplifies the configuration of systems. The new PFC300 controller can be used for process automation and telecontrol technologies in energy grids, modern industries, and sustainable buildings.
Enhancing the Future of Automation
With the launch of the 2587 Base Power Supply Series, Visual Panel 200 HMIs, and PFC300 Controller, Wago continues to strengthen the future of modern automation, offering manufacturers and industrial engineers essential tools to optimize their efficiency and performance. With the growing need for efficiency, digitalization, and cybersecurity, the new products from Wago offer potential options to cater to these needs.
