Keeping Up with Industry Trends: Are You Attending Virtual Events?

August 15, 2020 by Maddie Bradshaw

Virtual events are becoming the new normal in the midst of the pandemic. Below are some of the upcoming events to help you stay up on industry trends.

Industry events and conferences have traditionally been a way for companies to promote their latest products, and for people in the industry to connect with one another. Since COVID-19, almost every conference, trade show, and industry event have been either postponed until 2021 or canceled altogether.

Virtual events are springing up to fill the void where in-person events would usually take place.

Companies like Universal Robots have begun to host virtual events around the world. They recently hosted the virtual conference for collaborative robots. Since the event had a large number of attendees in Europe, they decided to bring the event to the U.S. audience just last month.

How can you keep up up with industry trends and connect with others? Below is a list of several upcoming virtual events in the industrial automation space.

ISA Virtual Events - Cybersecurity, IIoT, and More

The International Society of Automation (ISA) has recently launched a series of upcoming events for several different topics. The series offers many live webinars, conferences, and interactive ways for people to engage and connect with each other.

One upcoming event they are hosting is called the Virtual Cybersecurity Standards Implementation Conference+ (CSIC+).
