North America’s Largest Cobot Conference: Collaborate
Join Universal Robots, along with an exciting lineup of manufacturers, speakers, and leaders in collaborative robotics and automation, at the first Collaborate event on Jan. 28 in Novi, Michigan.
Universal Robots (UR) is already a respected and renowned name among collaborative robotic manufacturers. But this year, the global impact of UR’s work is being showcased in a brand-new event, Collaborate: Accelerate & Automate. This single-day conference and tradeshow will be held on Jan. 28 in Novi, MI. Along with UR+ ecosystem partner exhibitors, the event features a lineup of speakers with a wide range of knowledge and experience in the automation industry.
Hands-On Partner Exhibits
The UR+ ecosystem is a network of partner companies that have developed special hardware and software packages that complement the UR robot’s capabilities and make it easier for a specific application to hit the shop floor running. At Collaborate North America 2025, visitors will be able to experience many of these applications hands-on, much better than reading a sales brochure or watching a video.
In addition to many familiar applications like palletizing, welding, painting, and metal finishing, the event promises to demo some new, never-before-seen cobot applications. The UR+ ecosystem spans nearly every industry, including assembly (like the automotive plant shown below), construction, drywall finishing, bin picking, and CNC machine tending.

Engaging Speaker Lineup
Complementing the hardware exhibits is a lineup of presenters with experience and ideas to share with attendees. Speakers include Bernd Raithel, the Director of Factory Automation at Siemens USA, Ben Armstrong, Executive Director and Research Scientist at MIT, and Jake Hall, the insightful "Manufacturing Millennial" with a drive to promote trades and automation.
